Been thinking about Skull Kid and Majora’s Mask. The more I think about it, the more I realize what a wonderful game it really is in context of the series. It’s a game about alienation, loneliness and the importance of friendship, and in its own strange way it just may be the saddest and most personal Zelda game.

Super smog in northern Chinese city closes schools, cancels flight and halts buses

Visibility shrank to less than half a football field and small-particle pollution soared to a record 40 times higher than an international safety standard in one northern Chinese city as the region entered its high-smog season.

The manager for U.S. jazz singer Patti Austin, meanwhile, said the singer had cancelled a concert in Beijing because of an asthma attack likely linked to pollution.

Winter typically brings the worst air pollution to northern China because of a combination of weather conditions and an increase in the burning of coal for homes and municipal heating systems, which usually starts on a specific date. For the large northern city of Harbin, the city’s heating systems kicked in on Sunday, and on Monday visibility there was less than 50 metres, according to state media. (AP/AFP Photos)

My dad Marcus is the biggest pain in the arse on the planet.

He has one job to do on a Monday, and that is to cook tea.

Every monday he cooks the same god damn meal: Sausage on a plate, with something else.

This week is sausage and chips and I now hate sausages with an unbridled passion more intense than a frankfurter covered in english mustard. For years it was Chilli every monday (without rice), until breaking point when we all lost our shit and Marcus sought refuge in the banger. That point is close once more.
